If I had to name one single thing that has helped me the most in my development as a ship builder, it's discovering the Model Ship World (MSW) community.  On their website (modelshipworld.com), you will find information about virtually every aspect of model ship building as well as hundreds of build logs from some of the finest ship modelers throughout the world. 

I created build logs build logs on the MSW website for all of my ships-in-bottles.  Unfortunately, in early 2026 the entire site crashed and all the posted information was lost.  The MSW website was restarted again from scratch in mid 2026 and I have begun posting build logs for my new projects starting with the Constitution and Guerriere.
